March 2014 - Regional Championships

6 of our gymnasts competed in the Regional/Zonal championships and 3 of them took their grades. Emily Juzyk passed her Grade 9, Connie Jeffery and Asha Wootton-Thompson both passed their Grade 4. Also competing in this competition was Abi Bradshaw, Sydney Purkiss and Madeleine Clarke.

March 2014 - County Championships

We had some fantastic results from the County Championships with Sydney Purkiss claiming the U8 Gold County Champion, Emily Juzyk won the silver Junior County champion. 

We also had some good results in the novice section of this competition with Abi Bradshaw claiming silver in the O12 Novice, and for many of our younger gymnasts this was their first ever individual competition. Jessica Larkum gave a solid performance to come 4th in the U12 Novice Ball, Isobel Clarke came 6th in the U10 Novice Hoop. Others who also competed were Ona Ndefo, Reema Patel, Maisie Smith, Madeleine Clarke, Jasmine Starkey, Imogen Clarke and Emily Harris who all gave some good performances for their first competition.

June 2014 The Rose Cup

 

 

On Saturday 28th June 12 gymnasts competed in the Rose cup in Wellingborough. A fun day was had by all with some fantastic routines performed and improvements seen by all.

      

Results:

Level 1 U8 Free: 
This was the biggest category of the day with 21 gymnasts so for all gymnasts to finish in the top 13 was fantastic and huge improvements seen on scores.
     Sydney Purkiss 5th, Madeline Clarke 9th, Maisie Smith 11th, Ona Ndefo 13th

Level 1 U10 Hoop:
For some of the girls it was their first competition and a good grounding to start at . 
     Stella Robinson 6th, Isobel Clarke 11th

Level 1 U12 Ball: 
A big well done to Jessica who improved on her previous scores and took the bronze medal.

Level 1 Junior Ribbon: Imogen Clarke 4th

Level 2 Junior Ribbon: Abigail Bradshaw 6th

Level 3 U10 Free:
Level 3 is for girls who have passed their grade but did not achieve the correct score to reach grades finals.

   Connie Jeffery 2nd, Asha Wootton-Thompson 4th
