Meet the Team

Helen Barber
Senior Coach / Regional Judge
Helen began rhythmic gymnastics at the age of 5 and has been involved in the sport ever since! She gained her first coaching qualification at 15 and worked through the levels to become a Level 4 Senior Club Coach in 2009. Alongside her coaching qualifications, Helen also holds a BSc in Psychology and is a Regional Judge. Helen was delighted to join Billings RGC in 2014 and loves working with Jo and the team to promote positive training methods that focus on producing healthy, happy and successful gymnasts.
Sharon Stanton
Coach / Welfare Officer
I did Rhythmic Gymnastics when I was a child , it is a beautiful sport to be part of. My daughter then started at the age of 5 and It has taught her so many life skills & she has formed great friendships. So as a parent I wanted to volunteer my time to support the club & girls.
Andrea Jeffery
Senior Welfare Officer
My daughter joined Billings RGC in 2012 after a conversation with Jo, who at the time was a work colleague. “Bring her along & see if she likes it” Jo said. We’ve not looked back since!
Being part of the Billings team is so rewarding. I not only support by being a Welfare Officer for the club, I also love volunteering at competitions & coaching a small recreational group. It’s a delight to see the gymnasts training & trying to improve each time they come - and more importantly, having fun along the way.
Julia Head
Welfare Officer
I have been a member of Billings RGC since 2013 when my daughter started training with Billings RGC. I am a qualified Welfare Officer and am present at all our Moulton sessions. I like to share my positive can do approach with all the gymnasts within the club ensuring that they are training in a safe friendly environment
